Christmas

It has been a little while since I blogged but I have been very busy with Christmas. All month I have done lots of activities.

I went to see Shrek the Musical at the Grand Theatre. It was very funny.

My friend Taylor had a party at his office, Go Viral. There were lots of people there. I made some new friends and saw some old friends too. I also won an awesome prize, a pair of boots from Coakleys.

I went to a Community Living Christmas party with my boyfriend, Scott. We dressed as elves and won best costume. We won nice hats.

And of course I was busy selling my Christmas cards. That has been very fun.

We decorated for Christmas and one of my cats climbed the tree many, many times. She also steals ornaments. She thinks everything is a toy.

A few days before Christmas my sister Jackie and her boyfriend, Brian, came home. They live in Calgary. (I am going out there in February to visit them.) The next day, my sister, Angela, and my brother-in-law, Ollie came home. They live in Waterloo. It was exciting having everyone home. I miss them when they are not here.

On Christmas Eve we had lunch with my grandparents. We had a really nice visit. The next day was Christmas. We opened our presents and had fruit and cinnamon buns. I was excited to see everyone open the presents I got for them. I even made some presents.

In the afternoon, we all made dinner together. It was delicious, except for the Christmas pudding that my mom and I make for Ollie. It is disgusting but he likes it.

And even though it was not a white Christmas, we still had a snowball fight. We had indoor snowballs and we chased each other around throwing them.

All week we played games and had fun. We baked and decorated cookies. Yesterday two of my aunts and some of my cousins came for a visit. We laughed a lot and had a good time. One of my cousins is a police officer and she owns a maple syrup farm. In the spring, I would like to go there when the sap is running.

Today, Angela, Ollie, Jackie and Brian all had to go back to their own houses in Waterloo and Calgary. I am sad that it is over.
